Yes, Chris Rock Said It!
Chris Rock makes his way to the stage. “Duffle Bag Boy” by Playaz Circle featuring Lil’ Wayne is bumping in the background and Johannesburg, New York and London cheer him on, welcome to 79 minutes of laughter. Rock’s brand of politically incorrect, f-word and n-word seasoned entertainment is an amalgamation of social commentary, political satire and unfiltered fun. For the uninitiated Kill the Messenger is a dose of reality served raw.
Taped during the 2008 U.S. Presidential Campaign, Rock has a lot to say about the previous administration and candidates Barack Obama (now the President-Elect) and John McCain. From interracial dating to racism and white privilege, no topic (hot-button or not) is off-limits. As a matter of fact, the more off-limits the topic the more likely he is to talk about it.
For example: is it EVER appropriate for a white person to use the n-word? Is it? Rock breaks it down and explains in a hilarious sting that indeed, there are a few exceptions when white people can actually go there. Chris Rock has got jokes for the ladies too. He demonstrates a woman’s negotiating power, the one thing we can’t do and one thing we hate to do. And fellas, you owe Chris ten percent; buy Kill the Messenger and you will know why.

I saw Chris Rock at the Apollo Hammersmith. I never had laughed so much in my whole life! The guy is just funny and really clever.
