Unpretentious African joint in Camberwell, South London
Lip smacking African cuisine” is the strap line of this Nigerian eatery. The bright orange décor leads to a shabby dining area where locals gather together, talking and eating. The menu consists of classic Nigerian dishes like moi moi and suya alongside more exotic soups and stews. I opted for a suya and got some sort of spicy pork dish with jollof rice. Although it wasn’t what I had asked for, I did find it spicy and warming with strong flavours. Prices are reasonable and service is chatty and friendly. 4T4 isn’t the spot for fine dining, it looks more like a take-away than a proper restaurant. But it’s good for dropping by to fill an empty stomach.
