A night out at London’s almost legendary Cargo is a rites of passage for young Londoners living in or visiting Shoreditch. Having played host to various bands in the past, the club/bar stages an eclectic mix of events during the week, from comedy  nights to drum n bass to afro-beat; Cargo caters to virtually every taste. The refurbished restaurant offers a standard range  of tapas and burgers while the occasional Sunday afternoon BBQs in summer offer a more tantalising ethnic menu like jerk  chicken. The design of the club is spacious and clean like a vast industrial warehouse floor while the outside terrace offers is a nod to Scandinavian minimalism – think of a wooden art space in a Norwegian forest. Every month Cargo dedicates its ‘third wall’ to an upcoming artist to decorate. As a destination, Cargo is a great place to meet people from every corner of the world.
